Softer than it looksAug 13, 2010 When I purchased this I was under the impression it was a rigid tile. In fact, its very soft and flexible. The up-side to this is there is give when you walk on it and its comfortable. The downside for me is that it doesn't stand up to the load of a SUV on a jack-stand. The corners of the jack stand acted like a cookie-cutter making 4 permanent dents/cuts. The jack itself also made dents at its wheels (making it hard to move around), but these were temporary and the floor rebounded after the jack was removed. If you are going to use this floor and work on your cars in the garage, I'd cut a piece of plywood to put under the jackstand to distribute the load over more of the floor.
